Boxer Snot Prints on Glass

Hello Fellow Boxer Lovers!

If you have Boxers, you already know what I mean without me even having to describe it.  Snot prints on glass... The sliding glass door, the over door, the low window, the low mirror.  They leave their mark, and as soon as you clean it, they have a reason to some smear it with more snot and drool... It's like they do it, on purpose...

I know, I know, pictures... coming soon!

Bodhi Messes up the Bed to Expose the Sheets...

Hello Fellow Boxer Lovers!

Today for the thousanth time...probably MORE than that, I had to RE-make the bed due to Bodhi the Boxer... For some reason Mr. Oh High and Mighty seems to think that the sheets are much more comfortable than the blankets.  So he does what I call the 'rototill', where he nudges his nose under an edge of the blanket, then bucks and kicks the blankets out of the way to expose a large area of sheet.  Upon which he makes a nest of pillows and sprawls out on the sheets.   Yet does he get in trouble for this?  No...  he's freaking spoiled rotton!

I really oughta start taking pictures, but if your Boxers are anything like mine, they'll ignore you 50 times walking in and out of a room UNLESS you leave the room to get a camera.  That's the time they get up and follow you.  Psssh!

Running Out The Freaking Back Door

Hello Fellow Boxer Lovers,

Seriously, what is it about running out the back door that makes a Boxer's mind turn off?   Astrid and Bodhi seem to decide at the exact same second that they both must go out into the yard, now, this very second, and must exit the door at the exact same moment.

This then turns into a scuffle, as they both attempt to run on the tile, feet flying, no traction, (think one of those cartoons running in place going nowhere).  Then their feet hit the small carpet by the door, it flies in the air, they run over my foot, fly out the door, hurdle the planter box, run through the yard, around the big tree then stop like they forgot why the heck they ran out there in the first place.

As I close the door they fly back around and look at me through the window like I'm insane for closing the door on them.  They come back in, hop on the couch and take a nap. Really?  I mean REALLY?

Boxers are freaking NUTS!

Hello Fellow Boxer Lovers,

Astrid and Bodhi are spoiled rotton.... at this cottage house we are currently living in we do not have central heat, we have one of those 'wall units'.   The two of them are snuggled up ying/yang style hogging all the heatas it radiates out in to the room... Too cute!

Bodhi and Astrid Loving California!

Hello Fellow Boxer Lovers,

We recently moved back to California and the Boxer Duo are LOVING it here!  Lots of new sights, smells and critters here to experience and enjoy!  Up in Nevada they experienced Quail, Lizards and Rabbits...

Here in California they have met a new tormenting little critter, the Tree Squirrel.  Seemingly on a mission to tease and torment Bodhi and Astrid these little furry beasties with bushy tails are just too much for the Boxer pair to handle...

The Squirrels sit on the step right outside the sliding glass door, flicking their little tails knowing the dogs can't get them through the glass...

When outside sun lounging the lawn, the Squirrels run along on top of the awning outside, across the lawn and dance in the trees;  clicking their little squirrel songs, tossing down things from the branches and running my dogs wild!

I tell you what, all this extra exercise is making Bodhi and Astrid burn more calories, lots more lean muscle on these two.   The squirrels are great entertainment and I know that at least the Boxers will never ever catch one LOL
